20 Korean Tourists from Daegu City visited the Migrant Centre on Thursday, 30 September.
Through an interpreter the group heard about the information service and settlement programmes at the Centre. Jovi Abellanosa, SSNZ Coordinator; Jo de Lisle, ELP Manager; Ellie Wilkinson, HMS Trust Contracts Manager welcomed the group and talked about the programmes. Sue Hooper from the NZ Korean Friendship Society was also on hand to help welcome the group facilitated by Honew Tours in Auckland.
The group led by Choi Kyo-Jin, Manager, Divison Support for Multicultural Families was interested in settlement because most of them belonged to an organisation helping multicultural families settle in Daegu, Korea.
