ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Auckland BioSciences is a multiple award-winning Life Sciences manufacturer based in Auckland’s North Shore.
We operate in multiple sites across the country, working with many of the major meat companies in New Zealand.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Collection Supervisor to oversee raw material collection inside an abattoir in Hamilton and able to start ASAP.
This role can be suitable for either full or part time candidates.

Specifically, this role will include:

1.   Overseeing raw material collection processes in a Hamilton-based abattoir

2.   Reporting on 3rd party collection staff to ensure hygiene, process, and production standards are maintained.

3.   Working shifts starting at 5:45am Monday – Friday.

4.   Managing accurate record keeping.

5.   Co-ordinating consumable ordering (sending and receiving).

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1.   Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in the meat industry is preferred but not essential.

2.   A strong leadership style with good communication skills and the ability to enforce discipline when required.

3.   A preference for getting hands-on on the floor and leading the team from the front.

4.   Basic computer skills.

5.   The legal ability to work in New Zealand.

Prior experience in a food processing environment or meat industry is beneficial, but what’s most important is your personality and attention to detail. Full training will be provided to successful candidates.
