Animation College’s Bachelor of Animation is New Zealand’s only degree level course specialising in 2D and 3D character animation. It produces world-class animators who are at the very top of their field.
This Level 7 programme equips students with everything they need to launch a career as a specialist in story and character design, world building and visual effects, or game development.

The Bachelor of Animation can be completed in three years, however, students can also elect to stay on for a fourth Honours year. The Level 8 honours year is designed for students to fine-tune their craft, work on large-scale stories, and collaborate with commercial studios on innovative and original projects.
The Bachelor of Animation is currently enrolling for the 23 July 2018 intake at Animation College's Auckland City Campus.
Through a partnership with Yoobee School of Design, the Bachelor of Animation also offers a 23 July intake in Wellington, which is delivered from Yoobee School of Design's Wellington campus.
