We’re looking for a superhero.
And we’re not kidding. You don’t have to be able to leap tall buildings and out power locomotives because that would be too easy.
If you have the S on your chest, or carry a golden lasso, read on.
You’ll be able to develop creative solutions for a wide variety of (internal) customers, across multiple platforms, and while working within some sticky deadlines.
You’ll have just as much passion for print as you do for digital since we still use a lot of ink; from business cards to thick and chunky reports, we want our collateral to sit on coffee tables, not in dusty filing cabinets.
And flexible. Prima donnas need not apply. We need someone who understands that projects need tweaking, finessing and sometimes starting again from scratch if requirements change or a new approach is called for.
Still interested? There’s one more thing.
Every superhero needs a sidekick. And you’re no exception.
We’re also taking on a graduate designer, who you’ll help to recruit — someone who has the theory and training behind them, a keenness to earn their stripes, and a thirst for real-world learning.
You’ll mentor them, offering support and critique, help shape them into the same kind of exceptional designer you are, and cement the value of the in-house design team into the organisation.
If you’ve made it this far we need to talk. Dust off your CV and tell us about you.
The recruiting salary range for this position is $68,400 - $78,400. Applications must be submitted online by 4 October 2015.
