Reporting to the General Manager Corporate you will be developing and leading a high performing and empowered finance team that is partnered with the wider organisation. This leadership role delivers on the goal of “Best in Business” by balancing efficiency, value for money and outstanding service to Hamilton.

Leading Council's financial operations, including Accounting, Strategic Procurement, Budgeting, Decision Support, Treasury, Payroll and Revenue & Rating, you will be closely engaged with external stakeholders, elected members and internal units to deliver outstanding financial outcomes. 

Business acumen, leadership and an ability to deliver will therefore be critical to success in this role. You will need to be a chartered accountant with proven experience and be driven to succeed in your next career step.
