HAMILTON HERITAGE PLAN AND FUNDING GUIDELINES

Want to know more about Hamilton’s heritage sites and buildings? 

Come along to the Heritage Plan drop-in session at ArtsPost on Wednesday 15 July from 5.30pm -7.30pm and find out how Council plan to protect, conserve and promote Hamilton’s heritage.

OVERVIEW
A draft Heritage Plan has been developed by the Council’s Heritage Advisory Panel and Council staff.

The plan provides a holistic approach to ensuring structures, buildings and areas of heritage significance in the city are identified and conserved for future generations.

Heritage funding guidelines that set out how the Council’s $100,000 heritage fund will be managed have also been developed.

There will be a short presentation on the plan and guidelines at 6pm.

The evenings are complimentary and generally include an update from Sandy Turner (GM), a presentation from the host business and of course networking.
